Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Associate Veterinarian role located in Las Vegas, NV at Ann Road Animal Hospital. The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for providing veterinary care to a variety of animals, performing surgeries, conducting examinations, and offering preventive care services to ensure the well-being of our furry patients.
Responsibilities: y Care: Provide comprehensive medical and surgical care to our animal patients, encompassing diagnosis, treatment, surgeries, and preventive care. Client Relations: Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships by delivering exceptional customer service, addressing concerns with empathy, and offering clear communication and Clinic Management: Oversee day-to-day clinic operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and staff supervision, ensuring the smooth functioning of the Business Development: Collaborate with clinic management to strategize and implement initiatives for business growth, including marketing efforts and revenue opti - Examine animals, diagnose health issues, and prescribe appropriate treatments. - - - - Qualifications: - Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution. - Valid state veterinary license (open to VGAL). - Profound understanding of animal physiology, anatomy, and medical conditions. - Proven experience in surgical procedures and dental care for animals. - Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members. - Ability to handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately. - Familiarity with aseptic techniques for maintaining surgical sterility. Skills: - Veterinary critical care expertise for emergency medical situations. - Proficiency in dog handling during examinations and procedures. - Basic knowledge of pet grooming techniques. - Competence in maintaining a sterile environment during procedures. - Understanding of animal physiology and catheterization techniques. - Familiarity with veterinary terminology and laboratory procedures. - Skill in safe animal restraint during examinations and treatments.
