Job Description
As a Nurse Assistant at Lurie Children's, you will be at the heart of our pediatric care team, making a difference each day by supporting other nursing staff in compassionate and top-quality patient care.

Nurse Assistants :
- Help to warmly welcome families to the inpatient clinic area.
- Assist with taking and documenting vital signs, documentation of medical information, point of care testing, medical procedures, and intra hospital transport. All while ensuring that patients and their families are safe and comfortable.
- NAs contribute to maintain the function and efficiency of the unit, such as ensuring rooms are neat and tidy and timely patient rounds. NAs also help nursing staff ensure that all medical equipment is stocked and in clean, working condition and that medical waste is disposed of properly.
Pediatric Surgical Unit Information :
Position we are hiring for :
Minimum Qualifications :
1.High School Diploma or equivalent.
2.Successful completion of an accredited CNA Program.
3.Current certification as a CNA in the State of Illinois, active / good standing. 4.Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association. 5. Minimum of one year experience in hospital setting required, pediatrics preferred.

Pay Range
