Lurie Children's Hospital of ChicagoJob DescriptionGENERAL SUMMARY OF POSITION RESPONSIBILITY : This is a dynamic role within a collaborative and fast-paced environment. The Senior Marketing Specialist, under the direction of the Marketing Director at Lurie Children's Hospital, is responsible for developing and executing marketing campaigns and initiatives to support The Chicago Institute for Fetal Health (CIFH). This role will focus on all things related to fetal health including increasing awareness of varying programs, driving patient referrals, building provider relationships, supporting community events, and developing all forms of digital marketing (including blogs, social media and website content). The ideal candidate will be a creative and results-oriented individual with a strong understanding of marketing principles, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to successfully collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSDevelop and execute marketing strategies : Collaborate with Marketing partners to create high-impact strategies and develop key marketing materials, including newsletters, press releases, patient stories, and event-specific collateral.Collaborative digital marketing : Partner with Digital partners to strategize and execute successful campaigns. This includes developing SEO-driven website content / blog posts, managing paid search criteria, and analyzing web analytics to optimize performance and achieve marketing goals.Manage social media content development : Lead the development and execution of engaging social media content strategies that align with brand objectives. This includes creating and curating high-quality content, building strong online communities, tracking KPIs, and adapting to evolving social media trends to maximize brand reach and engagement.Lead community events outreach : Develop and execute engaging events for patient families, fostering community and providing opportunities to connect with healthcare providers.Build and maintain strong provider relationships : Partner with Physician Services partners to cultivate relationships with regional partners to promote education, streamline referral processes, and gather provider feedback.Oversee impactful conference presence : Coordinate and execute impactful presence at national and international society meetings, including exhibition booths, presentations, and social events.Direct CME event management : Coordinate and implement impactful continuing medical education events, including logistics, speaker engagement, and evaluation.Manage academic collaborations : Support the medical education office in coordinating the Fetal Surgery Fellowship, overseeing rotations and liaising with physicians at partner institutions, managing observer programs.Adhere to service principles : Perform all job functions with a focus on patient-centered care, innovation, service excellence, and teamwork to provide the highest quality care and service to all stakeholders.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIESEducation : Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field.Experience : Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in marketing, communications, or healthcare education.Communication Proficiency : Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation and interpersonal skills.Technical Skills : Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and digital marketing platforms (social media, SEO / SEM, web analytics).Project Management : Strong project management, organizational, and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Relationship Building : Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including physicians, healthcare professionals, and patients.Adaptability : Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.EducationBachelor's Degree (Required)Pay Range$54,600.00-$89,273.60 SalaryAt Lurie Children’s, we are committed to competitive and fair compensation aligned with market rates and internal equity, reflecting individual contributions, experience, and expertise. The pay range for this job indicates minimum and maximum targets for the position. Ranges are regularly reviewed to stay aligned with market conditions. In addition to base salary, Lurie Children’s offers a comprehensive rewards package that may include differentials for some hourly employees, leadership incentives for select roles, health and retirement benefits, and wellbeing programs.
