Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
- Entering accurate and timely patient data into electronic health records.
- Preparing patients for medical procedures, including vital sign recording and preparation.
- Coordinating with healthcare professionals to ensure effective care delivery.
- Providing educational materials and resources to patients and families.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Completion of an accredited medical assistant program.
- Basic life support certification and/or phlebotomy experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
