Job Title:
Certified Medical Assistant
Job Summary:
This full-time position is located in the Employee Health and Wellness Center at Ann's Choice by Erickson Senior Living. As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will provide clinical and administrative support to the employee health clinician and perform delegated medical assistant tasks under supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate schedules for employee visits and records
- Perform front desk receptionist duties, including data entry, customer service, filing, and phone answering
- Ensure accuracy of registration, insurance verification, and coding
- Prepare employees for examination by recording vital signs and preparing patients
- Perform blood draws, tests, vaccinations, and EKGs under direction of supervising clinician
- Prepare reports on utilization, co-pay, time in clinic, and satisfaction summaries
- Ensure lab compliance and record required data
Requirements:
- Knowledge of HIPAA
- Microsoft Office skills (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Completion of accredited Medical Assistant Program and valid certification
- CPR certification required
- Current MA Certification required
- Phlebotomy certificate preferred
