Duties

• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly and assisting them in locating products.
• Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer purchases and increase overall sales.
• Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions, products, and services to assist customers effectively.
• Utilize phone etiquette when responding to customer calls or inquiries.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with a broader customer base.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures and point-of-sale systems.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 29 per week
