Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Performs and produces high quality cardiac ultrasound imaging on patients of all ages.
- Assures that professional care is provided, and appropriateness of study is maintained.
- Demonstrates knowledge of ultrasound system, related cardiac applications and general safety in the workplace, to prevent accidents/injuries.
- Assists cardiologist with exams as needed, real time documentation of video and detection of pathology for patients of all ages, following department protocol.
- Observes protocols for scanning, measurements and image/anatomy documentation. Provides necessary tape and log identifications.
- Performs related diagnostic imaging functions and computer use in an accurate and timely manner.
- Maintains appropriate documentation for regulatory standards and the medical record while safeguarding patient confidentiality.
- Provides discharge instructions to patients as needed.
- Oversees student interns as needed.

Work Shift: Rotating
Experience: Experience with stress echo and bubble studies preferred.
Education Required: Must be a graduate of an accredited Cardiac Ultrasound program.
Licenses, Registrations, Certifications Required:
- Massachusetts Cardiovascular Technologist and Technician
- RDMS registered or CCI credentialed
- BCLS
