Position Overview
We have an immediate need for a Lead, Data Support, and are currently seeking individuals who are interested in long-term independent contractor engagements (on 1099 status) who would potentially consider full-time, permanent roles with us in the future. Working remotely is an option for this role during the contractor period. You will need to be based in the United States and available during East Coast Time Zone working hours.
Annalect's Technology division seeks a pioneering Data Support Lead to architect and drive our data onboarding ecosystem. This pivotal position owns end-to-end integration of client advertising data into our data infrastructure, wielding significant autonomy in establishing best practices and operational frameworks. As the cornerstone between client needs and engineering execution, you'll orchestrate complex data permissions, validate integrations, and champion successful data migration across our technology stack. Operating within a high-caliber team of engineers, product owners, and data scientists, you'll shape our data integration strategies while maintaining rigorous quality standards. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing scalable onboarding protocols, driving stakeholder alignment, and establishing metrics-driven progress tracking - positioning you as the authoritative voice in our data integration practice.

Key Responsibilities:
- Drive end-to-end data onboarding process for advertising platforms (Meta, DV360, TikTok, TTD), managing permissions and access while serving as primary contact for stakeholders
- Build deep technical expertise in platform-specific APIs, reporting structures, and data hierarchies to optimize account management and drive scalable onboarding solutions
- Collaborate with Engineering on onboarding specs (attributes, KPIs, dimensions) while validating successful data ingestion and storage delivery, troubleshooting any access issues
- Partner with Data Governance to ensure compliance adherence, implementing secure permissioning structures and maintaining platform-specific data management protocols
- Develop, document and maintain best practices for data onboarding processes, permissions, data flows and ingestion support. Assess and document data-sharing capabilities across platforms to ensure seamless integration with internal systems.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on the status of onboarding and ingestion.
- Set and measure short/long term objectives and goals for the direct and functional reports
- Share knowledge with team members as well as other internal teams (Product, Engineering, DevOps) to ensure consistent strategy for the data onboarding.
- Experience working with advertising platforms (Google Ads, Meta, DSPs, etc.)
- 3 years of experience in data operations, technical support, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of data ingestion processes and data pipeline management.
- Proficiency in managing access permissions across various data platforms.
- Familiarity with ETL processes and working with Engineering teams for data ingestion.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot data access and ingestion issues.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work across multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple onboarding processes simultaneously.
- Knowledge of SQL or other data query languages.
- Experience with cloud-based data storage solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Understanding of data governance and compliance best practices.
- Prior experience in the AdTech or digital media industry.
- Must possess critical thinking and exhibit problem solving skills for technical and data related issues.
- Should have good attention to details.
- Strong customer service skills and support focus with a desire to build a delivery process of a high-quality support services.
- Result-oriented and highly professional with ability to lead and take ownership and responsibility.
- Fast learner, flexible to business demands with strong organizational and planning skills and a positive ‘can-do’ attitude.
