About the Organization
CSCHS is the second-largest County-owned health and hospital system in California, committed to improving the health of the 1.9 million people of Santa Clara County. Santa Clara Valley Healthcare (SCVH), an agency of CSCHS, comprises three hospitals : Santa Clara Valley Medical Center (SCVMC - a 731-bed central hospital), O’Connor Hospital (OCH - 358 licensed beds), and Saint Louise Regional Hospital (SLRH – 93 licensed beds). Additionally, CSCHS includes a large primary care network of eleven health centers, several urgent care clinics, a broad range of specialty services, comprehensive dental services, a large behavioral health department, public health, EMS, and Valley Health Plan.
SCVMC hosts four residency and one fellowship training program and partners with Stanford University Medical Center for training residents and fellows in many Stanford-based specialties. Providers in our health system also have the opportunity to use our integrated electronic health record (Epic), recognized by the Health Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS) for achieving its highest level of success (Stage 7), based on continuous innovation and optimization of our inpatient and outpatient EHR.

About the Division of Primary Care
Our Primary Care Division at SCVMC provides full-spectrum outpatient care for all patients at various sites across Santa Clara County. The newly constructed Vietnamese American Service Center will focus on serving the Vietnamese community in the South Bay, providing health and human services while considering culture and language. Physicians who join our Primary Care Division find a collegial work environment, robust specialty and ancillary support, and an integrated electronic health record (Epic).
About the Positions
We are seeking three FM physicians. Full scope of practice is preferred, including pediatrics and ambulatory ob / gyn scope of practice is desirable but not required. For one position, we specifically seek a provider comfortable serving a largely Vietnamese patient population; knowledge of culture and fluency in the language is desirable.
