What are the responsibilities and job description for the Upper School English Teacher position at Annapolis Area Christian School?
The Upper School English Teacher will teach five English classes with other duties as assigned by the campus Principal or their designee. Candidates who can contribute to the school community by coaching a sport, sponsoring a club, or in other similar ways are highly valued.
Candidates should have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in English education, English, or a related field and demonstrated energy and enthusiasm for teaching students of varying abilities in the early years of high school. The ideal candidate will have a teaching endorsement or certificate (e.g., ACSI certificate) in English and teaching experience at the high school level.
