What are the responsibilities and job description for the Upper School Visual Arts Teacher position at Annapolis Area Christian School?
The Upper School Visual Arts Teacher will teach five visual arts classes with other duties as assigned by the campus Principal or their designee. Candidates who can contribute to the school community by coaching a sport, sponsoring a club, or in other similar ways are highly valued.
Candidates should have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in education-with a focus in visual or fine arts-or a related field and demonstrated energy and enthusiasm for teaching students of varying abilities throughout high school. The ideal candidate will have a teaching endorsement or certificate (e.g., ACSI certificate) in visual arts and teaching experience at the high school level.
