We are looking for a compassionate Veterinarian to diagnose and treat our clients’ animals. Surgical capability is preferred, Dr. Hamilton can work with you to be one of the best surgeons in the area! We have clients that say "yes" to what the doctor wants to do most of the time. This makes your job EASIER!!!!! 16-40 hour week, you can make over $250,000.00 easily if you are fulltime!! The support staff is fantastic. You tell me what hours you want to work, and I can work around your schedule!! The benefit package is negotiable. We are very flexible and easy to get along with. Ownership availability with $0 down is available. We believe in privately owned practices as opposed to the Corporately owned practices that are not nearly as personal to their clientele. Dr. Hamilton is looking for someone to carry on her legacy through future ownership of the practice, and that could be you!!
Equipment:
- Digital radiography, including dental radiographs.
- PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) and Stem Cells
- Digitherm
- Lameness scale to weigh each limb separately
- Ultrasound
- Cutting laser and Cold Laser (2 in practice)
- Rigid endoscopy
- Full in-house laboratory
Responsibilities
- Examine animals and check their health status
- Diagnose illnesses and determine the best treatment
- Dress wounds of injured animals
- Perform dentals and surgeries
- Vaccinate animals to prevent diseases
- Prescribe medication
- Advise pet owners on nutrition, preventive healthcare and general care
- Update client records
Skills
- Work experience as a veterinarian
- Experience conducting various types of surgeries, vaccinations and health checks on animals
- Knowledge of medical equipment (e.g. X-ray machines) and anesthesia procedures
- Problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain medical terms and conditions using simple language
- Patience and a love for animals
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, or VMD) degree
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $100.00 - $120.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 16 per week
