Job Title: Licenced Dental Hygienist (Locum Tenens)

This is a locum tenens opportunity for dental hygienists to provide services in Butner and Yanceyville, North Carolina. The full-time position includes up to 40 hours of work per week.

Detailed Job Description:

The selected candidate will work under the clinical supervision of the Correctional Dental Director or Designee. Responsibilities include:

• Preparing the clinic and operatory for patient care
• Documenting all procedures and care provided to patients
• Taking radiographs as required by patient treatment plans
• Providing personalized oral hygiene instructions to patients
• Performing prophylaxis and polishing treatments
• Sterilizing equipment between patients

Additional duties include:

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Cooperating with other staff members to ensure smooth facility operations
• Preparing monthly reports on patient care and facility operations

Requirements:

To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Hold current licensure in the state of North Carolina
• Demonstrate strong professional demeanor and chairside manner
• Be able to effectively interact with staff and inmates in a correctional facility setting
