What are the responsibilities and job description for the QuickBooks Accounting & Bookkeeping Instructor position at Anne Arundel Community College?
Department: Continuing Education and Workforce Development - Cyber and Technology Training
Pay Rate: Commensurate with education, certifications, and experience
Hours:
Days, evenings and weekends available
An instructor available to teach weekdays (mornings and/or afternoons) is highly preferred.
Qualifications:
- Required: Candidate must be proficient in Quickbooks 13-up.
- Must be computer literate and have a working knowledge of MS Office 13 and above.
- A minimum of five (5) years of cumulative, full-time, documented bookkeeping/accounting work experience.
- Documented experience teaching/training adult learners required.
- Bachelor’s degree
- Highly preferred candidates will have one or more of the following:
- QuickBooks certification and/or other technical certification(s)
- Master’s Degree in accounting or business related area.
- Professional certification in related field, such as CPA or CMA.
