Full-Time County Contractual

Position open to all qualified candidates.

Location: 1 Harry S. Truman Parkway, Annapolis, MD 21401

Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., with some flexibility in start time

Benefits: Participation in the County’s group health plan including prescription, dental, and optical, paid holidays and sick leave. Optional deferred compensation program at employee's own expense.

Job Description

Nature of Work:

Under the direct supervision of the Program Supervisor, assists in developing, implementing, promoting and evaluating comprehensive, evidence-based community health education programs in tobacco use prevention and cessation, specifically electronic cigarettes (JUUL).

Minimum Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalency (GED)

Experience:

One year of professional experience in assisting in the coordination of a health-related program(s).

Desired or Preferred Qualifications:

CHES certification. Previous work in health education. Bilingual.
