Academic Alliance in Dermatology, in affiliation with Anne Arundel Dermatology, is seeking an experienced Board Certified Dermatologist/Mohs Surgeon to join our team in Sarasota, Florida. This hybrid role involves providing both general dermatology and Mohs surgery care, with full-time or part-time employment options available. We are looking for a dedicated professional who is also a practice builder, with the ability to contribute to the growth and success of the practice in this thriving community.
Responsibilities
Our entire practice subscribes to the quality, not quantity, philosophy of care. We currently employ 250 of the Region’s best clinicians including Dermatologists, Dermatopathologists, Mohs Surgeons, Nurse Practitioners and Physicians Assistants, with 120 clinical offices also offering Clinical Cosmetic/Medical Aesthetics, Mohs surgery centers and a Dermatopathology Lab. We have a state of the art, fully integrated EMR (EMA) and we employ the area’s best, top quality administrative and clinical support staff.

Licensure/Certifications/Education
- M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school.
- Successful completion of Residency Program at an accredited healthcare institution.
- Board certification in Dermatology
- Fellowship-trained in Mohs Surgery
- Current State Medical Practitioner License
- Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and Department of Public Safety (DPS) registration, for prescription writing
