Responsibilities
Job Summary: Reporting to the Director of Procurement, this position is responsible for procuring supplies, equipment, and services needed by the company. The role involves managing the procurement process to ensure necessary materials are available in a timely and cost-effective manner while maintaining quality standards. This position supports the operations and support team to drive cost savings.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Source and purchase medical supplies, equipment, pharmaceuticals, and other necessary items.
- Utilize and maintain expertise and knowledge in the Procure to Pay system.
- Establish and maintain strong supplier relationships, negotiating favorable terms and pricing.
- Address supplier or product-related issues, including delays and quality concerns.
- Implement new procurement systems and processes .
- Promote a culture of procurement accuracy and process compliance .
- Assist in reconciling and expediting orders as needed .
- Collaborate with Operations Support to ensure procurement system is compliant with electronic medical records (EMR) and other integrated systems.
- Track orders and investigate vendor-related problems.
- Develop procurement KPI’s and exception-based reporting to ensure accurate procurement information.
- Support monthly and annual KPI reporting and non-labor expense management initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Education And Experience
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, industrial engineering, mathematics, or a related field is preferred.
- 2 years of experience in inventory management is required.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
