Ophthalmology practice seeks an Ophthalmic Technician to join our team and support our clinic. The primary duties will be to:
To operate an Autorefractor, Visual Field, Topcon Camera that take diagnostic imaging for optical exams.
To assist the providers by documenting medical exams, entering findings into our EMR.
To enter and send prescriptions to pharmacies.
To communicate with the rest of the team in a kind and respectful manner.
To make patient wellness calls post visits
You would work with a dynamic team in a support capacity and assist with maintenance and upkeep of shared clinical areas.
This is a position that requires previous experience as an Ophthalmic Technician and operating ophthalmic equipment in an exam capacity. Potential candidates must have: A high school diploma, great time management skills, strong technical abilities, be a dedicated learner, and have an unparalleled ability to get along with their teammates.
Prior experience in an Ophthalmic office is required.
Compensation: This is a full time position. Competitive salary and benefits are commensurate with experience and certifications.

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
