We are seeking dynamic Front of House Team Members to be the face of our restaurant and provide exceptional service to our guests. As a Front of House Team Member, you will interact directly with customers, take and prepare bowl orders, and help maintain a clean and inviting atmosphere. You’ll work closely with our kitchen and management team to ensure everything runs smoothly, from order to delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service : Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner. Take orders accurately, answer questions about the menu, and provide recommendations as needed.
- Order Management : Accurately enter customer orders into the Clover system, process payments, and ensure that orders are prepared according to specifications.
- Food Delivery : Ensure that food orders are delivered to the correct customer in a timely manner. Verify the order for accuracy before delivery.
- Maintain Cleanliness : Keep the front of house area clean and organized, including the dining area, restrooms, and beverage stations. Follow all sanitation and safety guidelines.
- Team Collaboration : Work closely with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth communication and quick service during busy periods.
- Problem Solving : Handle customer concerns or complaints in a positive, professional manner. If necessary, escalate issues to the Front of House Supervisor or Manager.
- Upkeep of Dining Area : Refill condiments, napkins, and silverware as needed, and ensure tables are set and cleared promptly.
- Cash and Credit Card Handling : Handle cash transactions, credit card payments, and process refunds when necessary. Maintain accuracy in all financial transactions.
- Support and Training : Assist in training new team members as needed and provide support to other staff members during busy times.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Experience : Previous experience in customer service or food service is a plus, but not required. We provide all necessary training.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact effectively with customers and teammates.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Basic math skills for cash handling and processing orders.
A friendly, approachable attitude and willingness to assist customers with a smile.
