Location: Jamestown, ND Shift: Monday – Friday: Flexible Hours Job Schedule: Full Time Weekly Hours: 40 Job Description The position of Infection Control Housekeeper maintains all patient and non-patient environments to ensure standards of health, safety, and infection control. This position is responsible for cleanliness of facility efficiently and completely as directed; follows special cleaning weekly, monthly, yearly scheduled as required with consistent quality; utilizes equipment such as mops, housekeeping carts, chemicals, supplies, etc.  Provides the highest level of service to prevent the risk of infection, observes and reports needed repair of equipment, furniture, building and fixtures as necessary to the Plant Operations Manager.  This position will implement required procedures for handling, cleaning, disposing and/or moving of objects/materials and or cleaning of blood, infectious materials or soiled linen in accordance with OSHA Blood-borne Pathogen Standard and/or Anne Carlsen’s policies and exposure control plan for Blood-borne Pathogens to include but not limited to: disinfecting furniture, light fixtures, window sills, etc.; wet mop floors daily, disinfect bathrooms.  This position will be required to maintain all areas free from infectious disease.   QUALIFICATIONS (minimum requirements) Education and/or years’ experience required: * High School diploma or equivalent required Preferred/Required Skills and Abilities: * Prefer experience or ability to learn chemical used for specific purposes in regards to infection control  * Prefer general knowledge of cleaning equipment such as mops, chemical, vacuum cleaners, brushes, brooms, solutions, supplies, floor machine, etc.  * Ability to learn and follow cleaning and safety procedures, learn the operation of cleaning equipment and chemicals * Ability to follow verbal and written instructions; understand material safety data sheets (SDS) * Required to use a ladder for certain cleaning requirements of the position.   Benefits: ACC offers competitive pay and benefits, employee discounts, paid time off (PTO), and great advancement opportunities!Here are a few examples: Health, Dental & Vision Insurance Employer Paid Life & Disability 401(k) & Profit-Sharing Plan Assurity Voluntary Benefits Flexible Spending Accounts Paid Time Off (PTO) Employee Assistance Program Special Employee Events Great working environment and ability to strengthen     your community!
