What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staff Attorney, Chapter 13 Trustee position at Annette Crawford, Chapter 13 Trustee?
The Chapter 13 Bankruptcy Trustee, in Baton Rouge, La., is seeking applications for the full time position of Staff Attorney. Applicants must be licensed to practice law in the State of Louisiana, and have practiced for a minimum of 2 years. Duties include, but are not limited to, conducting hearings, preparing pleadings including motions, oppositions and responses, legal research and writing, court appearances, review of pleadings filed by others, review of debtor financial information and other duties as necessary. Bankruptcy experience is preferred. Accounting and IT related experience is helpful. The Staff Attorney regularly represents the Chapter 13 Trustee in hearings in Federal Bankruptcy Court so must be well spoken and able to handle many details at once.
