Role Overview
The Director of Operations will play a critical role in driving clinic performance and supporting growth initiatives. Reporting to the COO, the Director will oversee a subset of our portfolio companies, collaborating with on-site Clinic Managers to ensure operational excellence. This role offers a unique blend of strategic and operational responsibilities, ideal for a dynamic, results-oriented individual with a passion for leading teams and growing businesses. The Director will cover clinics in the greater Los Angeles area, so the candidate must live in the area and have access to a car. While the role is remote, travel is required, including team off-sites and visits to partner clinics.
Duties and Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Oversee clinic strategy development and subsequent execution in partnership with the executive team and on-site Clinic Manager
- Coach and train Clinic Managers on optimizing clinic operations and owning the PnL, KPI’s, and adherence to SOPs. Implement requisite meeting structure and ensure proper documentation / tracking is established for remote management.
- Manage Annie Aesthetic Operations Associate assigned to each clinic. Coach and train on management of clinics and various internal workstreams.
Strategic Planning & Execution
- For new acquisitions, partner with the leadership team and Clinic Manager to transition from implementation to day-to-day operations and provide support during Zenoti (EMR) implementation.
- Assist with developing cross-functional project plans, SOP’s, and checklists for day-to-day operations and larger workstreams such as Zenoti management, hiring, onboarding, training, inventory management etc.
- Use strategic frameworks and project management techniques to help guide people through uncertainty; manage multiple and potentially conflicting priorities; identify and manage complex dependencies.
Vendor Management & Compliance
- Partner with Clinic Managers and the Zenoti team to troubleshoot issues and optimize our utilization of the software. Stay up-to-date with Zenoti product knowledge and proactively plan future adoption areas to streamline operations and increase revenue.
- Interface with the third party vendors for day-to-day needs of the clinic and ad-hoc items including: pharma / clinical, marketing, IT, maintenance / building management, etc.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements in each clinic related to business licenses and permits and clinical compliance and best practices.
Education / Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5 years of experience in consulting or operations management, with a focus on multi-site operations or M&A.

- Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to operate in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with a focus on results.
- Track record of successfully managing multiple work streams and optimizing processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and sensitive items with kindness
- Advanced user of Excel; EMR and/or CRM experience is a plus
- Technology integration experience is preferred

Salary : $160,000 - $190,000
