The Foundation is seeking a program associate who will help develop, assess, report on and advance the goals of the Evidence Based Practice (EBP) Group in partnership with EBP senior staff, partners and grantees.  The Foundation’s Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) group within the Research, Evaluation, Evidence and Data (REED) unit, supports building evidence to demonstrate the effectiveness of practices, programs and policies in Casey priority areas. 

As a program associate, you will:

  • Collect information, synthesize materials and conduct analyses of developments in the evidence-building field
  • Develop materials and reports, including written narratives, data visualizations and graphic representation, to communicate themes and narratives of EBP work
  • Assist in the planning, development, management and monitoring of EBP grantmaking and investment strategies
  • Review grantees’ progress toward achieving goals by administering and analyzing the annual grantee survey 
  • Support effective teamwork by responding to requests for research, materials and information, organizing team files and producing high-level meeting notes with action steps 

Qualified candidates will have the following 

  • Bachelor’s degree in human service, public policy, social science or a related discipline; graduate degree preferred
  • Minimum of three years of experience working in a government agency, community-based nonprofit organization, education institution or research and evaluation entity, developing, monitoring and delivering programs and practices
  • Demonstrated experience with research and evidence-building, program development and delivery in child welfare, juvenile justice, schools, mental health or other human services setting, preferred
  • Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and working effectively with people from diverse cultural, social and ethnic backgrounds, including youth and young adults
