Position Overview
The Director of Clinical Programming plays a critical role in advancing our organization's mission by overseeing clinical program development and execution. Reporting to the Executive Leadership Team, the Director is responsible for developing strategic initiatives, managing clinical resources, and building strong partnerships to maximize program impact. Key responsibilities include establishing an internship program, managing a virtual therapy platform, overseeing budgets and program billing, and effectively leading a team of program managers to ensure high standards and alignment across all clinical programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Program Development & Strategy: Develop and implement program strategies that align with organizational goals and address community needs with a focus on high-quality clinical care.
- Clinical Supervision: Provide clinical supervision to licensed and pre-licensed staff, including student interns, fostering a supportive, compliant, and growth-oriented environment.
- Internship Program: Design and manage an internship program in collaboration with universities, setting goals and outcomes that benefit both student clinicians and the organization.
- Virtual Therapy Platform Management: Oversee the virtual therapy platform to ensure accessibility, compliance, and effective service delivery.
- Budgeting & Financial Management: Oversee budgets and program billing, ensuring effective resource allocation and maximizing financial efficiency to support program growth and sustainability.
- Team Leadership: Effectively lead and inspire program managers and support staff, promoting a collaborative environment that encourages high performance and professional development. ensure strategic alignment, consistency, and excellence across all clinical programs.
- Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, donors, and program participants, actively advocating for the program's mission and impact.
- Compliance and Reporting: Ensure clinical program operations are compliant with regulatory standards, including managing reporting requirements, data collection, and client confidentiality.
- Performance Evaluation: Regularly assess program effectiveness, implement improvements, and report outcomes to leadership and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: Master's degree required in Social Work, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Licensure: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or equivalent clinical license required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in the nonprofit sector, with at least 3 years in a clinical setting.
- Financial Management: Proven experience managing program budgets and billing processes, with a track record of maximizing program funding and sustainability.
- Program Leadership: Strong background in program development, team management, and community engagement.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to inspire trust among staff, partners, and stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Strategic thinker with strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to handling challenges and ensuring successful program execution.
