Job Overview:
We are currently hiring for multiple Caregivers. As a caregiver, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and personalized care to individuals in need, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social well-being. This role will involve working with elderly individuals.
Responsibilities:
Personal Care:
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide support with mobility, transfers, and ambulation.
Medication Management:
- Administer medications as prescribed and ensure compliance with medication schedules.
- Monitor and record any changes in health or medication reactions.
Companionship:
- Engage in meaningful conversations and companionship to alleviate feelings of loneliness.
- Plan and participate in recreational activities or outings.
Meal Preparation:
- Prepare nutritious meals based on dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Assist with feeding if necessary.
Household Assistance:
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing.
- Ensure a safe and clean living environment.
Health Monitoring:
- Monitor vital signs and report any significant changes to healthcare professionals.
- Keep accurate records of care provided.
Communication:
- Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals, family members, and other members of the care team.
- Report any concerns or observations promptly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred.
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow care plans and adapt to changing needs.
- Physical stamina and the ability to assist with lifting and transferring.
- Ability to pass a Level 2 Background Check
- Able to provide a Negative TB test
- Able to provide a CPR card & First Aid
Working Conditions:
Caregivers will be working in an assisted living facilities. The work hours may vary, and some caregivers may be required to work evenings, weekends, or holidays.
