Caregiver

Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide high-quality care to individuals in need. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety, and promoting their overall well-being. This role is essential in enhancing the quality of life for those we serve, particularly in areas such as memory care and home health.

Duties

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Administer medications as prescribed and maintain accurate records of medication administration.
• Develop and implement personalized care plans tailored to each client's needs.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
• Support clients with memory care techniques and activities to enhance cognitive function.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Communicate effectively with family members, healthcare providers, and other team members regarding client progress and any changes in condition.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and best practices in caregiving.

Experience

• Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Familiarity with medication administration, care plans, dementia care, and social work principles is advantageous.
• Experience in home community care or home health environments is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
• A genuine passion for helping others and a commitment to providing compassionate care.
