JOB TITLE: REPORTS TO:
Instructional Aide - Special Education Supervising Teacher / Principal / SPE Director
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Successful experience working with children
  • Two (2) years of college experience preferred. If assigned to a Title I School, also must meet the
requirements for the No Child Left Behind Act

Physical strength, mobility, dexterity, stamina, and acuity are required to perform job responsibilities.
Medium work: exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force
frequently and/or up to 10 pounds of force as needed to move objects.
Performance will be evaluated in accordance with evaluation procedures and Board policy.
