Annunciation Catholic School in West Park (Broward County), Florida has an opening for a qualified Middle School English Teacher for the coming 2025-26 school year. This teacher will be expected to plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program for Middle School English and Language Arts students. The candidate performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami. Salary will vary based on certification and years of experience.
Qualifications:
- BS / BA Degree in Secondary Education, English, Language Arts, or subject-related field.
- FDOE Teaching Certificate in Language Arts; temporary or professional required.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Strong presentation skills use of instructional technologies.
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel; PowerPoint a plus.
- Effective oral and written English communication skills, including clear speaking voice.
- Good spelling and grammar required.
- Fully committed, supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in Roman Catholic environment preferred.
- Knowledge of basic tenets of Catholic Church.
- Must have a professional demeanor.
