We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Technician to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Conduct routine assessments and monitor vital signs of patients to ensure their health and safety.
- Assist in tube feeding procedures, ensuring proper techniques are followed.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
- Utilize medical terminology effectively in communication with healthcare professionals and documentation.
- Provide support in a medical office environment, assisting with administrative tasks as needed.
- Engage in direct patient care, offering assistance to individuals with disabilities and those requiring dementia care.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement patient care plans based on individual needs.
- Demonstrate knowledge of physiology systems to better understand patient conditions and treatment plans.
Experience
Candidates should possess experience or familiarity with the following areas:
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy standards.
- Proficiency in medical terminology relevant to patient care.
- Experience working in a medical office setting or similar healthcare environment.
- Knowledge or experience in dementia care and working with individuals with disabilities.
- Strong background in patient care practices, including monitoring vital signs and assisting patients as needed.
