Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Reading Mentor Duties:
- Meet with assigned students at the library each week during after-school hours.
- Lead students in reading aloud, playing literacy games, and setting goals for the week.
- Complete online training and in-person orientation before mentoring.
Technology Assistant Duties:
- Assist patrons with printer, scanner, and internet use.
- Guide patrons in navigating websites and digital tools.
Materials Assistant Duties:
- Keep assigned parts of the collection neat and in order.
- Stamp, sort, count, or clean materials as needed.
Summer Volunteen Duties:
- Tell patrons about summer reading programs and assist with downloading apps.
- Help with event preparations, setup, and cleanup.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Successfully pass background checks.
