Marching Band Instructor - Pit Technician
Schedule:
There are a few rehearsals in late May - early June with a focus on parade marching.
In mid-July, rehearsals begin for our Fall competition show.
Band camp is from August 15th - 19th, 8-5 PM every day.
There are many other rehearsals during this month, usually in the evening.
After Labor Day, there are rehearsals on Monday and Thursday evenings only, in addition to performance days on Fridays and Saturdays.
Duties: Work with students in the frontline alongside the other Pit Technician. Marching Band staff are expected to attend rehearsals during the summer and fall, and attend all Saturday competition events in September and October.
Preferred Qualifications: Previous marching band with emphasis on pit technician preferred.
