Student Support - Any Secondary License (Teacher on Special Assignment)
Part-Time

Duties: Support students attending Anthony Lewis Center and assist 10-12 grade students who are using an online platform in person at the Compass Building, to earn their credits in all core content areas needed for graduation. Be physically present in the classroom as a resource to the students; responible for grading in the area of licensure; provide lesson accommodations and modifciations if needed; set and hold classroom/buliding wide expectations and behavior management.

Minimum Qualifications: Requires Any Secondary License.
(Anoka-Hennepin will make every effort to hire teachers with full standard licenses in the assigned subject and grade level.)

Start Date: ASAP. This position may be filled immediately by an appropriately licensed candidate (PELSB Tier 3 or Tier 4 license); or by a candidate eligible for PELSB Tier 2 license (candidate must be enrolled in a teacher prep-program or have a Master’s degree in the content area), or OFP (Out of Field Permission) after a 15-day posting period.

Rate of Pay: $50,029 to $104,251. Rate is based on full-time equivalency and verified placement on the salary schedule, with 1.0 FTE being full time. View additional terms and benefits here.
