Job Description
Anoka Technical College is seeking a Temporary Part-Time English faculty. The primary responsibilities include teaching college-level composition, developmental writing, business and technical communications, and other English course offerings. This position will include face-to-face and online instruction. The English department values collegiality and collaboration as part of its commitment to teaching and learning. Faculty are also expected to participate and lead in discipline, division, campus, and college matters through service on committees. Continued professional development is expected.
Salary Range:
Full-time faculty salaries are based on an evaluation of education and related experience after a job offer has been accepted and currently range from $51,303 - $94,542. Full-time faculty work 171 days during a nine-month academic year and receive excellent benefits including health insurance, life insurance, dental insurance, short and long-term disability, paid personal and sick leave, retirement savings plans, tuition waiver for employees and dependents, professional development funds, along with many optional benefit programs.

collective bargaining agreement
between Minnesota State College Faculty (MSCF) and the State of Minnesota. Salary will be commensurate with education and experience.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master's degree with a major in English or a Master's degree with a minimum of 18 graduate semester credits (27 graduate quarter credits) in English.
Preferred Qualification
- Pedagogical coursework and/or experience teaching business writing, technical writing, and technical documentation courses;
- Industry experience as a professional and/or technical writer;
- Graduate coursework in rhetoric and composition pedagogy;
- College writing teaching experience;
- A philosophy of teaching that successfully integrates process-based teaching and student-centered learning techniques;
- Experience teaching online and using instructional technology in the classroom;
- Experience with implementing strategies to advance equity and inclusion in the classroom;
