We are looking for a IT support specialist for trading floor, to provide technical assistance to our clients. You will help install, upgrade and troubleshoot hardware and software systems. If you’re computer-savvy and enjoy supporting end users, we’d like to meet you. To succeed in this role, you should have a problem-solving attitude along with the ability to give clear technical instructions. You should be familiar with remote troubleshooting techniques. Ultimately, you will ensure prompt and accurate customer service and increase client satisfaction.

Responsibilities
l Provide front-line technical support to traders and other personnel on the trading floor.
l Respond promptly to support requests and technical issues, troubleshoot problems, and resolve them in a timely manner.
l Monitor and maintain trading floor systems, including hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
l Install, configure, and update trading applications, trading platforms, and related software.
l Collaborate with internal IT teams and external vendors to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
l Implement security measures to protect trading systems and data from unauthorized access or cyber threats.
l Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as system backups, software updates, and hardware upgrades.
l Document technical procedures, system configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
l Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies relevant to trading floor operations.
Qualifications:
l Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a financial trading environment.
l Strong technical skills in troubleshooting Windows and Linux operating systems, networking protocols, and hardware components.
l Familiarity with trading applications and platforms such as Bloomberg Terminal, Reuters Eikon, and various electronic trading platforms.
l Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation and customization tasks.
l Experience with market data feeds, order management systems (OMS), and execution management systems (EMS).
l Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with traders, developers, and other stakeholders.
l Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
l Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality technical support and service.
Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, CompTIA A , Network , Security ) are a plus.
