Temporary Assignment (Feb. 5th - Mar. 14th)
Pay Rate : $25.00 PER HOUR
First Shift position (Monday-Friday)
Responsibilities of the Automotive Interior Parts Leather Wrapper :
- Inspect, position, and hand wrap textiles (leathers, vinyl) onto automotive interior assemblies with due caution and care (door panels, door bolsters, etc.)
- Inspect, position, and adhere leather and vinyl to automotive interior assemblies (door bolster, door panels, etc.)
- Hand trimming of parts using open razor blades, scalpels, etc.
- Careful use of heat guns to activate adhesives to ensure a sufficient bond of textile to substrate without damaging
- Massaging / finessing of textiles to work out wrinkles, bridging, and alignment of seams, etc.
- Full inspection of product to ensure it meets quality standards before parts leave the stations
- Inspects parts for defects
- Conducts cleaning in the work area on a daily basis
- Experience in wrapping leather & vinyl materials on automotive interior plastic components - REQUIRED
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Knowledgeable in all defect types that are beyond customer and internal boundaries
- Knowledge of conducting inventories
