What are the responsibilities and job description for the CLO Analyst position at Anonymous?
Boutique credit fund is seeking to hire a CLO Analyst to support the fund's Structured Credit strategy. This position will provide a talented analyst with comprehensive exposure to the CLO investing process.
Based in the firm's midtown New York City HQ, the CLO Analyst will play a key role in the following:
-Support the senior Portfolio Managers in all aspects of managing the CLO portfolio;
-Analyze CLO performance across equity, mezzanine and debt, developing financial models to project cash flows, stress scenarios, and expected returns;
-Analyze, monitor and report on portfolio risk;
-Source, analyze, and model new investment opportunities;
-Trade idea generation and execution;
-Ad-hoc research projects for Portfolio Managers;
-Create and present analyses and reports to Investment Committee;
-Collaborate with Engineering team to utilize technology in improving automation, building tools to optimize the investment process;
-Manage and develop external relationships with investors, rating agencies, sell-side trading counterparties, and trustees.
The successful candidate will possess:
-3-5 years' relevant Structured Credit experience, either buy- or sell-side to include either analytical, investing, research or trading experience with a deep focus on CLO structures;
-Strong analytical and quantitative toolkit;
-Advanced modeling skills, to include Intex. Additional knowledge of Bloomberg, Moody's, and other relevant tools preferred;
-Outstanding written and verbal communication skills;
-Strong relationships with sell-side trading counterparties;
-Bachelors degree from a top school with a strong GPA;
-CFA preferred.
