About the Role
Title: Private Equity Associate
Location: Tier-1 U.S. cities or remote/hybrid
Firm Type: Lower Middle Market / Middle Market / Growth Equity
Role Type: Full-Time
As a Private Equity Associate, you’ll be on the front lines of deal execution and portfolio management. You’ll evaluate new investment opportunities, support due diligence, and work closely with portfolio companies to drive operational value.
What You’ll Do:
- Analyze target companies through financial modeling (LBOs, growth cases, scenario analysis)
- Conduct commercial and operational due diligence alongside external consultants
- Support deal sourcing, investor relations, and pipeline development
- Prepare investment memos and present recommendations to the IC
- Collaborate with portfolio company executives on growth and operational initiatives
Ideal Candidate:
- 2–3 years of investment banking, PE, or transaction advisory experience
- Deep understanding of financial modeling, accounting, and valuation
- Detail-oriented with a process-driven approach to deal execution
- Strong interpersonal skills to work across management teams, lenders, and co-investors
Salary : $150,000 - $160,000
