What are the responsibilities and job description for the Revenue Accounting Manager position at Anonymous?
The Revenue Accounting Manager reports to the Controller and provides leadership and direction for the firm's revenue accounting department staff.
Requirements:
• College degree in Business or Accounting is REQUIRED
• 10 years of US onshore Upstream Oil & Gas accounting experience, with a minimum of 3 years supervising revenue accounting department is REQUIRED
• Hands-on experience with O & G operational accounting matters (e.g. revenue and JIB) REQUIRED • CPA license in State of Texas PREFFERED, not required • OGSYS experience PREFERRED • Success in coaching and training team members and leading change • Ability to work five (5) days in the office
Responsibilities:
• Manages, trains, develops and works closely with all members of revenue department
• Prepare, review and post journal entries (for both operated and non-operated properties
• Ensure timely preparation and filing and payment of all state and federal reports
• Lead the integration of newly acquired properties for revenue, related taxes and state and federal royalties • Act as primary point of contact for external auditors
• Lead special projects as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with OGSYS and CPA license, active in State of TX
Salary : $125,000 - $150,000
