A Houston area Managed Services Provider has an opportunity for an experienced Senior Systems Engineer. The Sr. Systems Engineer is a strategic and technical leader responsible for designing, implementing and optimizing enterprise IT infrastructure solutions for their clients. The role blends deep technical expertise with cloud automation, cybersecurity, enterprise networking, and application engineering, ensuring that IT environments are secure, scalable, resilient and aligned with business objectives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field, OR 10 years of hands-on experience as outlined below
- Minimum 10 years of experience in solution design, technical architecture, and enterprise IT infrastructure, with the majority spent in fast-growing, complex enterprise environments
- Strong preference for candidates with backgrounds in high-scale, multi-site organizations, Managed Service Providers (MSPs), or IT consulting environments where adaptability, rapid problem-solving, and large-scale IT implementations were required
- STRONG preference for cloud and security leadership certifications, including Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, and optionally a CISSP
- Strong organizational and leadership skills appropriate for an innovative work environment
