About the role: Our team is looking for an Expediter to ensure the time and quality in delivery of goods and documents. This role will be responsible for monitoring progress of supplies, manage requests for deliveries, and monitoring compliance with contractual terms and inspection documentation.
About you:
- Understanding of process and procedures to monitor goods supply progress, with focus on production process lead time and supply delivery dates.
- Knowledge of goods manufacturing and fabrication processes.
- Knowledge of goods supply chain cycle phases including raw materials, quality control, NDE and welding techniques.
- Capability to coordinate inspections and testing activities.
- Knowledge of supply chain process with ability to focus on project objectives and purchase order requirements.
- Knowledge of master planning of shipping, transport and material packing.
- Extensive experience in SAP.
Responsibilities in this role:
- Review Purchase Orders and all contractual documentation to detect discrepancies and prevent delays.
- Work with vendors to check correct receipt and interpretation of PO's and expediting.
- Ensure vendor supply schedule covers all supply cycle phases in compliance with contract delivery terms and dates.
- Facilitate between vendor and company functions for supply chain activities.
- Provide reliable information on supply progress status.
- Ensure timely identification, SAP updating and continuous forecasting of goods delivery dates.
- Support Engineering department to vendor quality control document review (ITP, NDT, FAT, etc)
- Ensure issuance of inspection reports and non-conformity reports.
Work may involve both office and field-based tasks, including on-site troubleshooting, inspections and overseeing installations.
All candidates must be local to Houston, TX and have valid US Work Authorization.
Salary : $80,000 - $85,000
