About the role: Our team is looking for a Field Engineering Manager to participate in the Detailed Engineering Phase for Construction related issues. This would be an expert level position requiring experience in EPIC and several Engineering disciplines, responsible for managing and supervising engineering activities at site / yards to support construction work and define the solution of engineering problems as they arise during construction.
About you:
- 15 – 25 years’ experience with FEED for EPC projects.
- Registered Professional Engineer in Louisiana required.
- Experience with EPC projects for Natural Gas, Ammonia and Carbon Capture.
- Experienced in interfacing with Technical Managers and office project teams.
- In-depth knowledge of plant / infrastructural construction activities and techniques.
- Familiarity with fabrication and installation techniques.
- Capability to plan discipline engineering activities and documentation deliverables to meet Project milestones.
- Capability to monitor project activity and manage dynamic changes.
- Capability to analyze engineering documents and identify improvement areas (cost / time)
- Knowledge of HSE procedures and project requirements for all phases.
- Capability to coordinate Project Quality activities.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare Field Engineering Execution plan and define necessary resources, identifying the planning issues in terms of engineering.
- Manage site queries and securing technical answers.
- Ensure analysis of engineering and technical aspects of the feasibility of construction work.
- Coordinate engineering activities for site procurement.
All candidates must be local to Houston, TX and possess valid US Work Authorization.
