High-level technical and business skills are our most valuable assets.About the role : Our team is looking for a Senior Process Engineering Manager to coordinate all activities related to the FEL and FEED of assigned capital projects, including process conditions, gathering and validation of input data, and project design basis with asset owner / operation team.About you : Must be willing to be based on-site in Port Arthur, TX on a 4 / 10 schedule.B.S. in Chemical Engineering or other degree related to Process Engineering.10 years experience on brownfield projects of $1 - $20M TIC.5 consecutive years experience in a Lead Process Engineer role at a petrochemical company.Familiarity with how engineering companies are organized / ran / processed.Understand how to maintain a high level of communication between each engineering discipline on projects.Experience in Refining and petrochemical through FEL 1 / 2 / 3 and FEED, both with in house personnel and by leading a 3rd party team.Fluent in PMI and AACE principles of Project Gated Process, Cost Estimation, Owner Dcumentation, Engineering deliverables.Understand how to gather process data from field and DCS / SCADA, perform basic process and hydraulic simulations (Pro / II, HYSIS, Pipephase / Pipesim, Flarenet) and interpret results / reports.Issue Project Design Basis, Statement of Requirements, Scope of Work, Data Sheets of new process equipment.Develop PFD’s and P&IDs (redline, mark-up), able to describe process of facilities affected by a project and major process parameters.Able to participate / support HAZOP in FEED, and able to translate project scope resolution of HAZOP gaps.Able to conceptualize SIF and C & E matrixAble to perform field walk of process units, including locations accessible by ladder and internal inspection of process equipment (towers, vessels) at fabrication workshop and upon delivery on site.Responsibilities : Lead procurement and direct 3rd party engineering service suppliers to complete the development of capital projects (up to EPC gate approval).Ensure time and cost of engineering respect contract upon award.Be responsible for cost and schedule control of assigned projects, technical scope of request for engineering service, support procurement through call for tender, and evaluate technical offers and change orders.Be the Project Team Leader coordinating in-house personnel (for multi-discipline projects) and external engineering service suppliers. No direct report.Provide support for all assigned projects through detailed design, construction, and start-up.All candidates must be local to Port Arthur, TX and possess valid US Work Authorization.
