Another Day At Life Home Health Care And CDS is a Home Health Care Agency in Missouri, currently seeking a PCA for Clients in Joplin, MO. Another Day At Life Home Health Care and CDS is committed to improving the lives of seniors and disabled individuals. We are an in-home care provider of comprehensive home support services to help seniors and disabled individuals who need assistance with daily living. We send trained, thoroughly screened home care aides to the homes of our clients. Under general nurse supervision, our aides help with activities of daily living such as meal preparation, cleaning, laundry, and other activities that keep a home comfortable. Our aides also provide personal care such as medication reminders, monitoring vital signs, assistance with bathing & grooming, etc. By providing the help retirees and those with disabilities need with activities of daily living, The ADAL team ensures health, safety, and comfort for our clients. Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily activities and routines, including light housekeeping chores, bathing, grooming, mobility, and transfer services as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations when handling sensitive information. Provide medication reminders as directed by a nurse/care plan
- Prepare meals and snacks
- Run errands
Requirements:
- Ability to lift heavy objects when necessary
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and the importance of maintaining confidentiality
- Strong organizational skills to manage schedules and systems effectively
- Valid driver's license
