Responsibilities

- Implement crisis intervention strategies to assist clients during critical moments.
- Mentor clients by sharing personal experiences and providing practical advice for overcoming challenges.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive support for clients.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and interventions in accordance with organizational policies.
- Facilitate group sessions focused on behavioral health education, coping strategies, and life skills development.
Experience
- A background in mental health counseling or related fields is preferred.
- Experience in crisis management and intervention techniques is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with addiction counseling principles and practices is a plus.
- Knowledge of social work systems and resources available for individuals in recovery is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective client interaction.
