We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and compassionate Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role will play a vital part in supporting our daily operations and ensuring our clients receive exceptional care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support: Manage and maintain office operations including filing, organizing, and scheduling appointments.
- Client Coordination: Assist with coordinating patient visits, ensuring schedules are up to date, and communicating with patients and caregivers as needed.
- Data Entry & Record Keeping: Maintain accurate patient records and ensure they are updated regularly in compliance with regulations.
- Communication: Serve as a liaison between patients, families, and health care professionals to ensure smooth operations.
- Billing & Invoicing: Assist with invoicing and billing inquiries, ensuring timely payments and accurate financial documentation.
- Document Management: Prepare and process required paperwork, including patient care plans, consents, and reports.
- Customer Service: Answer incoming calls, address client inquiries, and provide friendly, professional support.
- Other Duties: Perform additional administrative tasks as needed to support the agency’s operations.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
- Previous administrative experience, preferably in a health care or medical setting.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Experience with medical billing and coding is a plus.
- Knowledge of home health care industry practices is a plus.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
