Description: What you'll be doing

Another Source’s client, Roundglass Foundation, is recruiting a Grant Writer to join their team in Bellevue, WA. This is a hybrid role with the opportunity to work a couple days a week remotely.  

The Roundglass Foundation (RGF) is a genuinely unique organization that has already built a track record of social impact without parallel in modern history. Founded in 2018 to deliver a comprehensive set of solutions around health, prosperity, sustainability and equity for the state of Punjab in India, we have already changed the lives of over 2 million people, and are on track to prove to the world that we can simultaneously achieve a set of ambitious social impact goals at the population level. Our continued success will set a new standard for what is possible in community-owned and driven development programs. 

RGF is now emerging from its highly successful initial 5-year pilot, and we are building a team to attract investors and partners to join us in the next phase of growth.

The anticipated salary range for this position is: $70,000 - $90,000 annually.  Compensation offered will be determined by level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for a bonus incentive as part of a full salary package. 

What you’ll do:  

• Study and understand the history, structure, objectives, programs and financial needs of the organization.  

•  Research grant opportunities from government and non-government agencies.  

•  Draft grant proposals and supporting documents based on the funding requirements of the organization.  

•  Submit proposals to grant coordinators for approval.  

•  Respond to internal and external queries on drafted and submitted proposals.  

•  Maintain positive relationships with fund providers and other stakeholders.  

•  Maintain records and submit reports related to grant opportunities.   

Skills and Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in English, communications, creative writing or a related area  

•  A minimum of two years' experience in grant writing  

•  Excellent knowledge of proposal submission and fundraising process  

•  Ability to study and understand programs and funding requirements of the organization  

•  Strong research skills and knowledge of information sources  

•  Multitasking, organizational and time management skills  

•  Ability to handle confidential matters with utmost integrity  

•  Working knowledge of computers
