The AWS Migration Architect is responsible for designing and implementing migration strategies for moving systems, applications, and data to the AWS cloud. Key Responsibilities :
- Cloud Migration Strategy : Develop and implement comprehensive migration strategies for AWS, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and scalability requirements.
- Solution Architecture : Design end-to-end cloud architectures that support migration initiatives, optimizing for performance, cost, and security within AWS.
- Migration Planning and Execution : Plan, manage, and oversee the migration of workloads to AWS, including assessments, roadmap creation, and phased migration execution.
- Technical Leadership : Provide technical expertise and direction to project teams on AWS architecture and migration methodologies. Guide development teams on AWS best practices.
- Stakeholder Engagement : Act as a liaison between stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clear communication, understanding of AWS capabilities, and alignment of migration goals.
- Risk and Compliance Management : Identify and mitigate migration risks, ensuring that solutions meet AWS compliance and security standards. Implement necessary controls and governance processes for the cloud environment.
- Performance Optimization : Continuously monitor and optimize the performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of AWS environments post-migration.
