Assembler / QC Technician– Elk Grove Village (on-site M-F, 1st Shift - Days)
Summary/Objective
The Assembler assembles machinery for the food and pharmaceutical production / packaging industries. Anritsu is a leader in detection and inspection products. The Assembler will collaborate with the Assembly Supervisor to assemble precision products for quick delivery to our customers.
This role requires organization skills, very strong mechanical and electrical assembly skills.
Our goal is to deliver Quality Inspection Equipment to our customers.
Essential Functions
Essential Duties
- Quality assurance and final test of products
- Quality Control – Test / Asses/ Repair /Report regarding the defects within the finalized machinery by the assembly team
- Report and discuss defects within the finalized machineries with supervisor and find pathways to Kaizen.
- Performs process testing to assess the completed mechanical and electrical assemblies, using hand and power tools
- Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations,
- Hands-on precision assembly and integration of all our inspection equipment
- Maintain a record of all parts used for assembly
- Work to meet customer order expected delivery date
- Perform other duties and projects at the direction of the Assembly Supervisor

Education and Experience Required
- Minimum Associates Degree in Electronic Technology, Industrial Controls or Electrical Engineering, or similar technical education / experience such as through the military.
