What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Lines Trainer position at Ansay & Associates?
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Support all new acquisitions with integration into Ansay and EPIC system and associated training of new Commercial Lines team members
In conjunction with department leadership, train new Account Managers, Account Executives and Producers on essential duties and responsibilities, and guide them through the onboarding process while serving as a key point of contact
Demonstrate strong initiative by implementing, overseeing, and coordinating book consolidations and other special projects related to acquisitions and/or evolving departmental business needs Provide guidance and ongoing feedback to Account Managers, Account Executives, and Producers pertaining to Commercial Lines through regular monitoring and auditing of proper procedures, policies, and customer-focused initiatives, in partnership with and support of department leadership
Stay contemporary on all system(s) updates and capabilities – and be able to assist in training and rolling out to both current and new staff while supporting utilization of technologies and best-practices
Lead CL Training series, presentations, webinars, and lunch/learns for the CL Agency line of business that support departmental goals, priorities, and objectives
Provide prompt, accurate, courteous service to customers, producers and company personnel
Educate clients on their insurance coverages, needs and identify potential gaps in coverages
Maintain book of business of new commercial lines accounts which meet agency standards, round out lines of business on current accounts, and cross-sell opportunities from other departments when applicable
Proactive management of an assigned book of business utilizing the Epic Agency Management System
Work to ensure retention on accounts through best in class service
Service commercial lines accounts in a manner to eliminate gaps in coverage, thus reducing our E&O exposures, and use service experience to identify training and workflow improvement needs
Continue professional development (i.e., keep current with industry and carrier changes, continuous training, pursue professional designations, etc.)
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS PROVIDE MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO PERFORM THE JOB.
· Higher education (from an accredited university) in Business or related field
· Thorough understanding of commercial lines insurance and products
· Licensed per state requirements
· Have one insurance designation (i.e. CISR, CIC, CRM) – or be willing to obtain
· Self-starter with strong initiative, customer experience-focused, and continuous improvement mindset
· Strong collaboration and relationship-building abilities with good written and verbal communication skills
· Detailed oriented and solid listening skills
· Team Player with a Can Do Attitude
