Ansell is looking for a PC LAN Administrator Intern to join our team in MetroPark! Our Summer Internship Program will run on a hybrid schedule requiring a minimum of 2 days per week in our Iselin, NJ Corporate office from June through August.
In this position you will play a vital role in working with the NA/LAC IT Infrastructure Team to support local users in Iselin and remote users across NA/LAC by administering various Microsoft and third-party corporate technology services. In addition to providing user support, the PC LAN Administrator intern will assist with cybersecurity-related tasks, such as monitoring and responding to security incidents, maintaining compliance with security policies, and ensuring the proper implementation of access controls and endpoint protection. The role emphasizes maintaining high service quality, optimizing system performance, and contributing to a secure and compliant IT environment.

What your role will be?
Collaborating with our cross functional teams, and reporting to the Director of IT Administration, you will have the opportunity to:
- Perform routine system administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting for local and remote locations to ensure optimal system performance and minimal downtime.
- Maintain and update documentation for supported systems, including configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides.
- Administer SharePoint Online sites, Office 365 accounts, licenses, and groups, ensuring secure and efficient access management.
- Conduct system installations, upgrades, monitoring, and analysis, while providing training and documentation as needed.
- Assist with cybersecurity tasks, including monitoring security alerts, managing endpoint protection, and supporting compliance with IT security policies.
- Proactively identify and resolve infrastructure issues, including applying system patches and mitigating potential vulnerabilities.
